Enclosed Puddle Arc Welding Process
The Enclosed Puddle Arc Welding Process is a manual welding procedure specifically designed for the joining of crane rails of identical profile into one continuous length. On completion of the welding, the head of the rail is ground flush to ensure a smooth running surface on which the crane can run.
Alumino-Thermic Welding Process
An alternative to the Enclosed Puddle Arc Welding Process is the Alumino-Thermic Welding Process, again designed for the joining of crane rails. Provided that the access is suitable and the environment is appropriate, CRI can offer the Alumino-Thermic Welding Process.
Clients may rest assured in the knowledge that all procedures are carried out by fully trained, coded and experienced staff.
